DERA MURAD JAMALI: A woman and two other people were killed in different areas of Nasirabad district on Sunday, police said.

Sabaz Ali allegedly opened fire on Bakhtiar Ali in the Khan Kot area, killing him in the name of honour. The suspect fled the scene after the incident. “It is a case of honour killing,” Levies officials said.

In a separate incident in Livestock Colony, a man stabbed to death a woman.

Police took the body of Khalida Bibi, 32, to hospital. They arrested the suspect and recovered the dagger used in the crime. The name of the suspect could not be known.

In yet another incident, a man gunned down his younger brother, identified as Ishaq Umrani, in the Khan Kot area of Dera Murad Jamali.

According to police, the suspect was a mentally-retarded person.
