PESHAWAR, Aug 13: Corps Commander Lt-Gen Ali Mohammad Jan Aurakzai has said the government is trying its level best to provide the tribesmen with better education facilities, a press release issued by the ISPR, said here Wednesday.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Army Public School at Tall, Kurram Agency, he said that education was vital for the promotion of any country in this fast developing world.

The government, he said, was striving hard to bring the tribesmen living in remote areas of Kurram, Aurakzai and North Waziristan Agencies at par with the settled and developed parts of the country.

He, however, expressed concern over the sorry state of situation in the tribal areas, where he said the teachers were non-existent, and the education given to students didn’t cater to the modern-day requirements.

Earlier, Town Nazim Tehsil Tal Azam Shah welcomed the corps commander and appreciated his endeavours to improve the standard of education in Fata.f
