TAXILA: Four, including a minor, were killed in separate incidents in Taxila and Attock on Thursday.

A man allegedly shot and killed his wife, Wajhat Bibi during a fight in their home in Wahdat Colony, in the limits of the Taxila police station.

The victim was taken to the POF hospital where she died from her injuries.

In a separate incident, a six-year-old girl died when she was shot by another minor in her house in Dhoke Dhake, in the limits of the Jand police station in Attock.

According to the police, Robina Tariq was playing in the courtyard of her house when her 10-year-old cousin, who was playing with a 30-bore pistol, accidentally shot her. The girl was taken the THQ hospital where she died.

In an unrelated incident, Yasir Iqbal reported to the police that his brother Danish Iqbal was killed over a petty dispute. The accused managed to flee.

The incident took place in the limits of the Hazro police station in Attock.

Separately, the body of a 17-year-old boy was found near Kannat Mor in the limits of the Pindi Gheb police station in Attock.

The police have identified the victim as Mohammad Asad was last seen when he went to work. They said the victim had been shot.

Meanwhile, Adnan Qureshi reported to the Wah Saddar police that his wife and three-year-old son were abducted when she was going to her parents’ house and in an unrelated incident, Qasim Khan reported to the same police station that four unknown people abducted his 14-year-old niece when she was going to the market.

The respective police registered separate cases and started further investigations.
