THE road between Jamshoro and Sehwan has become dangerous owing to its single track and serpentine path. This has made it prone to severe accidents which have led to the loss of precious lives. There has been talk of making it a dual carriageway but to date this project has remained on the drawing boards.
This is a request to the Sindh chief minister to take necessary action in this respect as the thoroughfare sees constant traffic. Furthermore, the National Highway Authority should also increase its patrols on this portion to ensure timely response to any mishap.
The NHA is also requested not to allow overloaded trucks and coaches heading towards Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab till this road is made a double-track carriageway.
