LAHORE, Aug 10: Light rain in parts of the city kept the weather mild on Sunday.

Due to a maximum temperature of no more than 33.5 degrees Celsius and an overcast sky, people found it pleasant enough to visit the city’s numerous parks and recreational places in large numbers even with 84 per cent humidity in the morning and 72 per cent in the evening.

The local Met office reported 66mm of rain in Faisalabad, 18mm in Mianwali, 8mm in Islamabad and 1mm in Sialkot and predicted more light rain in several cities of the province during the next 24 hours.
