PESHAWAR, Aug 10: A UK-based non-governmental organization has pledged to work with the provincial government to improve the primary health care in the NWFP.

A team of the NGO, AIMS International, currently on a visit of the province carried out studies in the remote areas of the NWFP for the financial and technical assistance needed in the health sector.

A member of the team said that he would make recommendations to his colleagues and directors of the organization back home that on the basis of the findings of the visit, the far off areas needed financial as well as technical assistance to improve their health care infrastructure.

The AIMS International had been working in collaboration with the Peshawar University in the health and education sector for the last three years.
