13-year RI in cyber crime case

SARGODHA: Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Tariq Mahmood Zargham on Thursday awarded 13-year rigorous imprisonment to a man in a cyber crime case registered by the Phularwan police station.

On June 21, 2016, the Counter-Terrorism Department Faisalabad, along with the district police of Sargodha, conducted a raid at a house in Mohallah Hussaini Phularwan and arrested Imran for sharing provocative sectarian material on Facebook.

The police registered a case against the accused and presented a challan in the Sargodha ATC. The ATC judge awarded 13-year RI along with Rs250,000 fine to the convict.
