A teenage servant was reportedly tortured to death on Tuesday, allegedly by his landlady, in Akbari gate area of Lahore, DawnNews quoted police officials as saying.
Police officials said that the landlady reportedly tortured 17-year-old Akhtar to death, whereas, the sister of the victim was also beaten up by the suspect.
"Both the siblings used to work at the residence of Fauzia, who is said to be the daughter of a political personality," said SP City Adil Memon.
The parents of the victim have been informed about the tragedy and the sister of the victim, Atiya, has been taken into custody from the residence, he said.
The body has been shifted to a hospital for postmortem examination, whereas, further action would be taken upon the arrival of the victim's father from Nankana Sahib, Memon added.
SP Memon further said that apparently, the suspect landlady hit the boy with a stick which proved fatal while the family of the landlady claimed that the 17-year-old had consumed something poisonous.

It is important that the name of the woman and the political party she is affiliated with is released to the public, otherwise chances are high that this incident will be hushed up and the victim's family will never receive any justice.
It goes without saying that if the people who commit these crimes are sentenced to harsh prison terms, such incidents would decrease over time.

Off course when the son in law of Chief executive of the province breaks arm of a minor for not opening doors of the bakery after hours for the daughter of Chief Minister. What would be expected of the rest of the so called elite of the province. Having said that rest of the country I'd unfortunately no better. Elite of this country believes they are above the law and they are.

I hold Pakistani leaders across the board responsible for her death, leaders job in this country is supposed to legislate laws to protect weak and poor's in particular (although law should always treat every citizen equally regardless of financial, cast, creed, language and religious status), instead these treacherous leaders are busy extorting money and protecting their financial and other crimes by hook or crook. I also hold public equally responsible for her death as no one speak out loud and clear on behalf of weak and poor.

Pakistan is no country for poor. The few rich are exploiting the poor and they make sure that the poor stays in perpetual poverty. Pakistan is few of the countries where labor is cheap and is kept that way to serve the elite. We destroy the childhood and the future of these poor children and make sure things are kept the way they are.

this type of case state should file the case . people sell there children first they should be also punished . when these people make children the name of god is taken but children suffer at the parents hand plus the buyers they torture them and enjoy .
first employment of children should be banned families employing/buying should be punished. the civil society should take part in solving this prob.the govt/police is not handling the case properly.
