THIS is apropos a news report saying that the Sindh chief minister would inaugurate the Drigh Road underpass on July 20. This news is very painful for those who use Sharae Faisal. I assume that because of security concerns the Sharae Faisal would be blocked from the night of July 19 to July 20.

I request the chief minister to inaugurate the Drigh Road underpass from his office for which Karachiites would be grateful to him. I also request him to focus on the other city problems like its sewerage system, damaged roads, removal of garbage and, above all, clean water supply.
