KARACHI: Parts of the city continued to receive small, immeasurable amounts of rainfall intermittently throughout the day, said a meteorological official on Monday, forecasting similar weather conditions for Tuesday.

Responding to Dawn’s queries, the weatherman said that reports of rain/traces kept pouring in at the Met Office from all over the city during the day. However, the amount of rainfall was negligible and could not be measured.

He said the maximum temperature recorded in the city on Monday was 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 28 degrees Celsius. Humidity — the amount of moisture in the atmosphere — was 75 per cent.

He said weather on Tuesday was expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy and there were chances of rain/drizzle. He said the maximum temperature was expected to remain between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius.
