ISLAMABAD: AJK hotelier strangled

ISLAMABAD, Aug 9: A hotelier from Azad Kashmir was strangled by suspected gangsters in Kuala Lumpur.

Raja Ishtiaq, 38, was found dead in a room of the family’s Omar Khayam Hotel in Maidan Tunku district in downtown Kuala Lumpur early on Wednesday morning, Raja Mushtaq Ahmed, the brother of deceased, told Dawn.

His body was flown to Islamabad on Saturday and later taken to his ancestral village of Hans Chowki in Azad Kashmir’s Bagh district for burial.—Our Reporter
