KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Gwadar has collected Rs3.947 billion more in duty and taxes over the target of Rs22.494bn during out going fiscal year 2016-17.

The growth of 18 per cent in revenue collection over the target was mainly contributed by sales tax collection of Rs16.957bn, followed by customs duty Rs6.938bn, withholding tax Rs2.522 bn and federal excise duty Rs24.049 million, said a press release on Monday.
