LAHORE: The national selection committee has named 27 players for a 10-week High Performance Camp to be held at the National Cricket Academy here from July 3 to Sept 9.

At the camp, which is being organised keeping in view the future commitments of Pakistan’s national team, the players — several among whom are members of current national outfit — would train under the supervision of NCA coaches.

The selected players are advised to report at NCA on July 2, except for Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan, who will join the programme from the third week.

Following are the 27 players announced for the camp:

Openers: Sami Aslam, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Sahibzada Farhan.

Middle-order batsmen: Umar Amin, Haris Sohail, Usman Salahuddin, Asif Zakir, Umar Akmal.

Fast Bowlers: Usman Shinwari, Sameen Gul, Mohammad Irfan, Mir Hamza, Rumman Raees.

Spinners: Mohammad Asghar, Shadab Khan, Bilal Asif, Mohammad Irfan, Usama Mir.

Fast bowling all-rounders: Amir Yamin, Fahim Ashraf, Ammad Butt, Hussain Talat.

Spin bowling all-rounders: Mohammad Nawaz, Agha Salman.

Wicket-keepers: Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Hassan.
