KARACHI: Eight horses are set to vie for honours in The Quest Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Tuesday.

The cup race, which is third in racing order, will be contested in scale order VII over four-and-a-half furlongs.

Altogether, two dozen horses have entered the four-race card barring last minute withdrawal.

It is pertinent to mention that the races were originally scheduled to take place on Sunday but were cancelled at the eleventh hour due to the ICC Champions Trophy final between Pakistan and India.

Later, a new handicap was issued for Tuesday’s meeting.

According to schedule, the first race gets into action at 2.30pm.
