NEW DELHI, Aug 5: A three-member delegation of All Party Hurriyat Conference led by its new Chairman Maulana Abbas Ansari on Tuesday met diplomats from Pakistan, Iran and US with an objective to strengthening the peace process between India and Pakistan.

The Hurriyat delegation comprising chairman APHC, Maulana Abbas Ansari, former chairmen Abdul Ghani Bhat and Mirwaiz Umer Farooq held a meeting with Pakistan High Commissioner, Aziz Ahmad Khan.

The delegation also had a meeting with Iranian ambassador. Earlier the APHC team met diplomat in the political section of the US, Mathew Boyce. The delegation apprised the US diplomat of the APHC role in promoting the peace process between the two countries.—APP
