KARACHI: Five horses will battle it out for honours in The June Cup when it takes place in the Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The June Cup, which is the third race in the racing order, will go over four-and-a-half furlongs in scale order VII.

Meanwhile, a five-race card has been drawn for the day’s races which have been brought forward by a day to avoid clash with Pakistan-India match in the ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday.

Altogether, 25 horses will vie for honours in the day’s programme barring last-minute withdrawal.

The first race starts at 2.30pm.
