Heavy rains forecast

ISLAMABAD, Aug 3: Met office on Sunday predicted heavy rains in Punjab, NWFP, Kashmir and adjoining areas in the next 24 hours while scattered thunder showers are expected in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Scattered rainfall forecast in north-east Balochistan and upper Sindh whereas heavy down pours are predicted in upper Punjab.

Monsoon season starts mostly in the first week of the July and is likely to continue till mid-September.—APP
