The Sindh government on Tuesday issued a notification for the reshuffling of portfolios in the provincial cabinet, announcing Sohail Anwar Siyal's appointment as the new provincial interior minister.

Siyal will retain the portfolios of the Agriculture and Supply and Prices ministries in addition to his recently allocated portfolio, the notification said.

Additionally, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has been allocated the Transport and Mass Transit ministry, along with his existing portfolio of Labour and Human Resources and Information ministries.

The notification also states that Dr Sikander Mendhro has been assigned the Religious Affairs and Zakat and Ushr ministries. Dr Mendhro will continue to head the Health ministry as well.
