KARACHI: The three-day National Beach Games will be held in Karachi from May 19, provincial sports secretary Salim Raza announced on Wednesday.

Teams from all four provinces alongside Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Fata and Gilgit will feature in the Games which will see men compete in 14 events and women in seven.

Men will compete in arm wrestling, boxing, beach soccer, gymnastics, handball, kodi kodi, netball, throwball, malakhra, sepaktakraw, shooting ball, tug-of-war, volleyball and wrestling while women will be seen in action in arm wresting, beach soccer, netball, throwball, tug-of-war, volleyball and handball.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Beach Luxury Hotel with the closing on the 21st at Sea View beach.
