RAWALPINDI: Another three hardcore terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), who had earlier been tried by military courts, were executed on Thursday.

The three were involved in committing heinous offences, including killing of innocent civilians and attacking security personnel, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.

Several policemen and soldiers also lost their lives and a number of security personnel suffered injuries in separate attacks carried out by these men.

Those executed — Hassan Dar, Umar Zada and Hazrat Ali — had admitted to their involvement in these crimes before the magistrates.

It was not clear in which prisons were these convicts hanged. The punishment comes on the heels of four executions that took place on Wednesday.
