A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Mirage jet crashed near Jhang's Athara Hazari area on Tuesday, a PAF spokesperson said.
The aircraft crashed while on "routine operation training". No loss of life was reported, according to the PAF, as the pilot was safely ejected from the jet.
In April, an Army-owned Mushshak aircraft experiencing a 'technical failure' crashed into a tree in Kalowal near Jhelum.
The aircraft was on a routine flight when it crashed into a tree and was fully damaged in the crash. The pilot remained unhurt.

Very unfamiliar and unheard incidents have happened more frequently with Pakistan Air Force.
Is it too much reliance on Chinese technology or decrease in professional capabilities???

Mirage is outdated jet and should be discarded, as our highly trained pilots' lives are very precious. Thank God pilot remained safe.

@sikander shallwani The type has been in service for more than 50 years.... no airforce in the world now operates mirage 3/5...... this is the reason.... need to replace with thunders ASAP

Mirage aircraft is 50 years old. Due to lack of funding its not been retired but soon it will be replaced with jf 17 block 3\4 and j 31
