CHAKWAL: Two men drowned in separate incidents in Chakwal, Rescue 1122 sources said on Friday.

In the first incident, Mohammad Usman drowned in Maswal dam while taking bath there. He went to the dam along with his friends. When his friends saw him drowning they cried in alarm which caught the attention of the villagers who managed to fish him out and shifted him to hospital but he could not survive.

Tanzil Haider, a resident of Wasnal village, drowned in Neela Wahan Lake near Kallar Kahar where he went to bathe along with friends. He did not know swimming but he dived into the lake and drowned.
