LAHORE, July 29: Governor Khalid Maqbool on Tuesday set up a three-member board of specialists to coordinate with cardiac surgeons for the treatment of injured judge Shehryar Bokhari.

The judge suffered grievous injuries in the Sialkot jail incident in which his three fellows were killed and as many hurt.

The governor issued these directions on his visit to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology to inquire after the injured judge. He met his family and assured them of maximum support.

The board comprises Shaikh Zayed Hospital chairman Dr Anwaar A Khan, nephrologist Dr Tahir Shafi and neurophysician of Mayo Hospital Prof Muhammad Nasrullah.

The board has been constituted on the recommendation of PIC chairman Dr Jawad Sajid and MS Dr Muhammad Javed.
