SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah on Wednesday inaugurated ‘Sweet Home’, built at the cost of Rs80 million, in Sukkur and handed over the hostel facility for homeless children and orphans to its management.

He said by inaugurating the Sweet Home in Sukkur, the dream of slain prime minister Benazir Bhutto had been fulfilled as at least 100 children would have food, education and sports activities at the facility.

The head of Pakistan Sweet Homes Zamurrad Khan and PPP leaders including former interior minister Rehman Malik, Manzoor Hussain Wattoo and others were present on the occasion.

The event was also addressed by Pakistan Baitul Maal Director Adnan Majeed and assistant director of Sweet Home, Sukkur, Shabbir Memon.
