MIANWALI, July 28: Frequent power suspension has made the life of the people miserable in Mianwali.

The city received rain on Monday which caused the suspension of power supply to long hours. The Fesco authorities did not take any notice of the long power failure.

At least 12 transformers became out of order due to last Sunday’s rain, suspending the power supply to the city for some 30 hours. The XEN did not entertain the consumers’ complaints while the linemen were found absent at the city complaint office.

Due to regular fluctuation, the consumers have to face monetary losses as well because their electronic items went out of order.

Consumers have urged the authorities concerned to take stern action against the negligence shown by the Fesco staff.
