MANSEHRA: Four members of a population census team suffered serious injures when their jeep fell into a deep ravine in Jabri Kaleesh area of Mansehra district on Thursday.

The jeep was on its way to Jabri Kaleesh area from Balakot city when the driver lost its control while negotiating a sharp turn and causing the accident.

The local residents shifted the injured to the Balakot Civil Hospital.

After emergency treatments, the doctors referred the injured to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, Mansehra, where their condition was stated to be out of danger.

Among the injured were army soldier Mohammad Akram, police constable Akhtar Nawaz, enumerator Mohammad Munsaf and jeep driver Mohammad Riaz.

Earlier this week, enumerator Abdul Qadir was killed and three other members of a population census team were injured when their jeep met an accident in Battle area of the district.
