SANGHAR: Four members of a family were killed when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a bus near Beerani town of Sanghar district on Tuesday.

The deceased victims were identified as Ali Sher Brohi, his wife, Hazari Brohi, their minor daughter, Zeenat, and another family member, Ms Shahzadi (whose relationship with the other victims could not be ascertained immediately).

Tando Adam police said the victims died on the spot after a head-on collision between the two vehicles.

The bus was impounded but its driver managed to escape soon after the accident, they added.

The bodies were handed over to the heirs after a post-mortem examination performed at the Tando Adam Taluka Hospital.
