Daddy issues

Published March 5, 2017

My oh my! Aalia Bhatt, in no time, has become the most sought-after actress of her age group. Her superb acting chops are often attributed to her genes because she’s the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt, arguably among the brainiest of Bollywood directors. But she’s inherited more than just acting genes. She acknowledges her father’s intelligence but also has a critical eye about him in other matters. A few days back someone asked her if she’d like to have her father’s qualities in her husband [whoever she chooses to marry, that is]. She immediately answered, “No, I don’t want my father’s qualities in my husband.” Hmm… I’m guessing Mashesh B would be happy with his daughter’s approach to life.
