Sehwan carnage

Published February 24, 2017

IT is heart-wrenching to see a large number of people getting killed and injured in Sehwan. Such acts of terror have been taking place all over the country. The entire country has been on a high alert, including Sindh.

There were two policemen at Sehwan when the blast occurred. I have visited it many times and have always seen them busy in other things.

There is no proper hospital there and no airlift facilities.

Who is responsible for all this? The public pays taxes but does not get benefits, while the government takes taxes and does nothing. The intelligence agencies have failed to protect the country. They should be held accountable for this security lapse.
