Four goals each for Qublai and Hissam

LAHORE, Dec 29: A four-goal burst, including a hat trick by Shah Qublai Alam, enabled Green Earth to beat Buzz 10-6 in Servis polo cup played at LPC Ground on Monday.

Both the teams were level 6-6 at the end of the third chukker. 

But Green Earth stole the show by adding four goals in the fourth chukker — three by Qublai and one by Taimur Malik to settle the issue.

Green Earth gained 3-1 lead in the first chukker.

Faaiz Rahim Khan and Qublai slammed in a goal each in the first chukker. Syed Hassan Raza replied for Buzz.

Green Earth surged ahead 5-3 in the second chukker as both the teams scored two goals apiece.

Faaiz scored twice while Hissam Ali Hyder, who scored four goals including a hat trick, fired his first while Samiullah chipped in with the other.

Buzz, caught up with the rivals and took the lead 6-5 in the third chukker as Hissam smashed three goals in a row.

But the lead (6-5) lived short as Shamyl scored his second goal to restore parity 6-6 before the chukker completed.
