KCCA names three teams for Gold Cup

KARACHI, Dec 29: Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) on Monday named Imranullah, Arif Mahmood and Mansoor Beg to lead KCCA teams in the Sindh Governor’s Gold Cup cricket.

Imran will lead Karachi Whites, Arif Mahmood will be skipper of KCCA Blues and Mansoor Beg will be captain of KCCA Greens.

Selection committee headed by Aftab Baloch with Ateequr Rehman, Shoaib Habib and Zafar Ahmed as members, had selected the teams after extensive trials.

The following three KCCA teams have been advised to report to their managers from Tuesday at 2 p.m. at TMC Ground for net practice.

KCCA Whites: Imranullah (captain), Agha Sabir, Khurram Manzoor, M. Masroor, Ahmar Saeed, Kamran Hussain, Riaz Sheikh, Tahir Khan, Asim Zaidi, Aminur Rehman, Iqbal Imam, Owais Ather, Tabish Khan, Amir Kaleem, Saeed Khan, Mirza Adnan Beg, Kamran Bin Mansoor, Saad Siddiqui, Waqar Kundi, Asadullah Sumeri, Adnan Kaleem, Ghulam Qadir. Shafiq Kazmi (Manager), Mazhar Alam (coach).

KCCA BLUES: Arif Mahmood (Captain), Mir Rashid, Rashid Ali, Zeeshan Pervez, Faraz Patel, Afsar Nawaz, Irfanuddin, Mansoor Ahmed, Shareef Asadullah, Farman Shah, Saad Waseem, Saif Ashraf, Abdul Qadir, Umer Daraz, Irfan Ansari, Wahajuddin, Faraz Ahmed Khan Sr., Malik Aftab Alam, Zeeshan Aziz, Amir Junaid and Nasir Aziz. Musheer Rabbani (Manager), Atiqur Rehman (coach).

KCCA GREENS: Mansoor Beg (captain), Danyal Ahsan, Zahid Ghauri, Waqas Haroon, Talah Khan, Naved Khan, Javed Mansoor, Mansoor Ali, Aftab Ahmed, Rajesh Ramesh, Wajahat Farooque, Fazal Muhammad Khan, Osman Farhat, Raheel Waris, Sajjad Mirza, Salman Khan, Ammad Hameed, Atif Raza, Sheheryar Ghani, Fahad Maqsood, Faraz Ahmed Khan Jr. and Zeeshan Essa.
