LAHORE: Twelve members of a family, including children, fell ill after consuming poisonous food in Green Town.

Rescue 1122 officials shifted all the family members to the Jinnah Hospital where they were said to be in stable condition.

Green Town Station House Officer Waseem said the family had eaten toxic food from a local hotel. He said the sick included seven children.

He said they had taken the food samples for forensic tests and alerted the Punjab Food Authority.
