Pilgrims to get special Haj passports

Published December 27, 2003

ISLAMABAD, Dec 26: All the intending pilgrims will travel for Haj 2004 on special passports, which will be issued by the ministry of religious affairs, says a press release.

According to Haj Policy 2004, no Pakistani national will be allowed to travel for Haj on international passport, the press release added.

It said some tour operators were misleading the intending pilgrims by claiming that they would arrange Haj Visa on international passport. No such permission has been given in this regard by the ministry, it added.
