Two suspected militants blew themselves up following a confrontation with security forces in Saudi Arabia's second city of Jeddah on Saturday, Saudi media reported.
Saudi security forces surrounded a house in Jeddah and exchanged fire with the men, who blew themselves up, Sabq.org, a website affiliated with the monarchy's interior ministry, said.
UAE-based Sky News Arabia also reported the incident and ran a video of an explosion in Jeddah's eastern Al-Harazat district.
The Saudi interior ministry had no immediate comment.
Islamic State has carried out a series of bombings and shootings in Saudi Arabia since mid-2014 that have killed scores of people, mostly members of the Shia community and security services.
Last year, a suicide bomber was killed and two people were wounded in a blast near the US consulate in Jeddah, the first bombing in years to target foreigners in the kingdom.

This conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen (Iran Proxy) will only escalate. Pakistan should avoid any "Boots on the ground", we have are own wars to fights. We should offer mediation ONLY.

@Arshad Hussain Khan, Mediation means neutrality to both sides, to resolve their differences without violence. Taking pot-shots at Iran or Saudi Arabia is merely escalating the violence.

This is why I vehemently oppose General Raheel joining the Saudi Arabia led military alliance. It will be seen by others as official Pakistan support of the conflict in Yemen, and I fear we will sucked into this conflict.

With what lenses do you see Iranian boots or air power of Iran operating in Yemen and as far as Syria or Iraq is concened Iranian involvement there has been upon invitation of those two countries respective governments and to fight against ISIS an international terrorist organization that has brought havoc not only upon Syria & Iraq but also on the Western world. And the world knows well who funded and created this bloodthirsty juggernaut

There is unfortunately severe polarisation within Muslim world on account of sectoral divide.
As it is , today Muslims have two distinct identities, one is supported by Iran, Lebanon the other by Saudi Arabia. This is a flash point and can end up any time on armed conflicts.

Saudi Authorities have the competence to deal with terrorists and criminals. Their security and spy network is far better than Pakistan and they neutralize the hardcore criminals in advance of achieving their target.
