Expressway

Published January 20, 2017

I WOULD like to request the authorities to allow traffic on Karachi’s Lyari Expressway in the afternoon to travel from the city centre to Gulshan-i-Iqbal.

During the defence exhibition, this route was made accessible to traffic in the evening, bringing much relief to the people, especially those travelling to Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Gulistan-i-Jauhar, Safoora Goth and beyond.

After office timings, it takes more than three hours now to reach home via Sharea Faisal. This is because Sharea Faisal, M.A. Jinnah Road, I.I. Chundrigar Road, etc, are blocked for hours.
