MIRPURKHAS, Dec 22: Tribute was paid to Allama Shah Ahmad Noorani by local leaders of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal at a condolence meeting held here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mufti Sharif Saeedi, Lala Noor Mohammad, Zafar Ahmad Khan, Maulana Mushtaq, Maulana Ramzan Rehman, Maulana Abdul Hafeez Siyal and others hailed the late Noorani for his struggle for enforcement of Nizam-i-Mustafa and restoration of democracy.

They said he had played an important role in the Khatm-i-Nabuwat movement and the drafting of the 1973 Constitution.

They termed his death a big loss for Muslims and advised the people to follow in his footsteps.
