GB clerks

Published January 8, 2017

COMPARED to other parts of the country, Gilgit-Baltistan is backward. Many people here depend on government jobs, while some others are involved in agriculture.

The private sector has not flourished yet, so the ratio of unemployment has gone up. Despite the upgradation of clerical posts, GB billing clerks in water and power department remain deprived of benefits.

The Gilgit-Baltistan government should look into the matter.
