PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has notified transfers and postings of six officers on Thursday.

According to a notification, Sajid Khan, BPS-21, working as chairman of the defunct Sarhad Development Authority (SDA), has been posted as secretary of agriculture, livestock, fisheries and cooperative department.

Zahir Shah, BPS-19, working as deputy commissioner of Kohat, has been transferred and posted as additional secretary (HRD Wing) of establishment department.

Similarly, Zariful Maani, BPS-18, working as additional secretary of environment department, has been transferred and posted as deputy commissioner of Buner in his own pay and scale against the vacant post.

The notification says that Shahab Hamid Yousafzai, BPS-18, working as additional deputy commissioner of Buner, has been posted as deputy commissioner of Chitral and Akmal Khan, BPS-18, working as deputy secretary of finance department, has been posted as deputy commissioner of Kohat.

It says that Gul Zeb Khan, BPS-20, who was officer on special duty at establishment department, has been posted as managing director of Fata Elementary Education Foundation.

Meanwhile, IGP Nasir Khan Durrani has given additional charge of AIG headquarters to Syed Akhtar Ali Shah, BPS-21. The seat fell vacant after the retirement of AIG Mian Mohammad Asif earlier this month.

According to a notification, Mr Shah, who is also holding charge of additional inspector general of the Elite Force, will also look the affairs of the AIG headquarters.
