LAHORE: Mohammad Shafiq was retained as president of the Pakistan Handball Federation by the general council held in Faisalabad on Saturday while Javed Iqbal Gill was elected as secretary of the federation.

The representatives of army, Wapda, Police, HEC, four provinces, Islamabad, Athletes Commission and Referees Association took part in the elections.

Pakistan Olympic Association secretary general Mohammad Khalid Mahmood and Pakistan Sports Board assistant director Raja Zulfiqar Ahmad also attended the meeting as observers.

President: Muhammad Shafiq; vice-presidents: Mrs Amna Tanwir (PWHA), Khalid Rashid(HRAP),Col.Junaid Alam(Army),Bahre Karam(KPK), Muhammad Hanif (Punjab); secretary general: Javed Iqbal Gill (Punjab).
