Competition compliance guide launched

ISLAMABAD: On the occasion of ‘World Competition Day’ on Monday, the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) launched ‘The Guidance on Competition Compliance’.

The guide, based on Competition Act 2010, provides an operative and meaningful voluntary competition compliance programme for assisting businesses and other stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and minimise their risk of involvement in competition law infringements and the costs resulting from anti-competitive behaviour.

PPL gets extension of Sui Mining Lease

KARACHI: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) stated that the government had allowed the company to continue production from Sui Mining Lease for an additional period of six months with effect from Dec 1. The announcement was made by the company at the PSX on Monday to comply with the material disclosure regulations.
