Ranveer Singh is one smart lad. When he makes a mistake, he realises it and doesn’t beat about the bush.

His fans and cine-goers in general went berserk when they saw him on an advert hoarding carrying a girl on his shoulders with a tagline that suggested you should take your work home. This caused anger among his admirers who thought that the ad was sexist.

When they kept asking the actor to come out with his position on the matter, he gave a statement in which he apologised for what had happened saying while ‘it was important to give the brand creative freedom to design their campaign’, they got it wrong. He claimed that all such hoardings had been taken off, adding that he respects women professionally and personally. Deepika Padukone is one of them.
