LARKANA: In the continuing action against unauthorised blood banks and pathology laboratories across Sindh, Larkana Assistant Commissioner Dr Masood Bhutto along with Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority focal person Dr Ghulam Mustafa Shaikh raided and sealed two laboratories here on Tuesday.

The officials confirmed the action against the Irfan laboratory, located on Women’s Jail Road, and Mehran Laboratory, situated on Lahori Road.

The two laboratories were being run without the supervision of a qualified pathologist, they said, adding that there were also reports about substandard examination reports being issued by the laboratories.
