NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Dec 14: A sub-inspector was injured during a police raid at village Khushi Mohammad Punjabi, Moro taluka on Sunday.

The Mominabad police of Karachi raided the village to arrest Ghulam Sarwar wanted in a case lodged against him with the Baldia police, Karachi.

The villagers came out of their houses and offered resistance against the police attitude and insult to family members of Sarwar.

After exchange of hot words, the police and the villagers clashed as a result sub-inspector Arshad Butt got injured.

The Moro police have arrested Mushtaq and two others and registered an FIR under section 353 and 324 PPC against Sarwar, Ghulam Mohammad, Shahid, Abid Ali, Sabir Ali, Ramzan, Akhtar Mujahid, Khalid and seven unidentified women of the village.
