ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) disclosed on Tuesday that 11 foreign players will be participating in the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) International Squash Championship scheduled to be held here at the Mushaf Ali Squash Complex from Nov 14 to 21.

Talking to APP, PSF secretary Group Captain Amir Nawaz said the participating players will be from Hong Kong, Scotland, Egypt, Holland, England, New Zealand, Australia and Jordan.

“The pre-qualifying round will start on Nov 14, while the qualifying round will be held from Nov 16 and the main round from Nov 18,” he said.

Amir said this year Pakistan had successfully hosted two Professional Squash Association (PSA) events of $25,000.

“The last and fourth PSA event will be played from Dec 31 to Jan 6,” he said.

He said the PSF was considering holding PSA events in other cities which include Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar.
