Convincing wins for Saleh, Yousuf

KARACHI, Dec 12: Favourites Saleh Muhammad, Muhammad Yousuf and Naveen Perwani chalked out easy straight frames victories on the second day of Karachi Club Open snooker championship at KC Billiards Hall on Friday.

Top seed Saleh carved out a break clearance of 79 in the first frame while routing qualifier Asim Ghani. However, former world champion Yousuf was unable to crack any noteable break in his success against first round winner Ahmed Salim.

Talented Vishan Gir and Atiq Latif Bakhsh also registered 4-0 wins against Farhan Idrees and Baqar Kamani respectively.

Naveen Perwani defeated Dr. Aneel Bherwani 4-0 and Amit Parwani dropped a frame against his elder brother Sanjay Parwani before winning his match.
