LAHORE, Dec 11: PML-Q former president Mian Muhammad Azhar and Punjab PPP President Qasim Zia on Thursday agreed to wage struggle for restoration of real democracy and supremacy of the constitution and parliament.

Mr Zia, who is also opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly, on Thursday called on Mian Azhar and conveyed him a message of PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto. Senator Tariq Chaudhry and former MNA Chaudhry Muhammad Arif were also present.

During their one-hour meeting, both the leaders agreed to raise voice at every forum against the deteriorating law and order situation, increasing unemployment and poverty in the country.

They held the rulers responsible for these problems faced by the masses.
