KARACHI: MQM chief for dialogue

Published December 11, 2003

KARACHI, Dec 10: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has emphasised the importance of a dialogue for promoting amity and integration.

Speaking to Ad hoc Committee members by telephone, Mr Hussain urged his supporters to work for collective interests and improve understanding of each other. He said that lack of communication would generate misunderstandings and allow outsiders to exploit the situation.

The MQM also observed the martyrs’ day in Pakistan as well as in London where Fateha was offered for the departed souls by the leadership and activists.—Our Reporter
