KARACHI: Asad Raza completed the rare feat of capturing all 10 wickets in an innings as Faisalabad outclassed Hyderabad inside two days of their PCB Inter-region Under-19 Cricket Tournament fixture in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Replying to Faisalabad’s first-innings tally of 346 at the Niaz Stadium, the hosts were dismissed for 81 after resuming day two of the fourth-round’s three-day Pool ‘A’ clash at 8-3. Asad grabbed 10 for 31 runs.

Following on, Hyderabad capitulated for 156 in their second knock to lose by an innings and 109 runs.

Karachi Blues also clinched an early victory when they annihilated Quetta by an innings and 94 runs here at the UBL Sports Complex.

Ashar Qureshi excelled with a fine all-round performance. After top-scoring with 90 on Saturday, he ended up grabbing nine wickets for 63 in the match, including 6-40 in Quetta’s second innings.

In the Pool ‘B’ fixture at the LCCA Ground in Lahore, Dera Murad Jamali stunned Lahore Whites with a thrilling two-run victory to earn six points.

Trailing by 33 runs on the first innings, Dera Murad Jamali mustered only 149 in their second turn at the crease before bowling out the home side for 114.
