Indian forces killing of innocent Kashmiris and brutality in Indian occupied Kashmir now qualifies to be put in Nazi death camps category.

Kashmiris' struggle for liberation is indigenous,it's high time this thorny issue was resolved under the auspices of UNO as accepted by Mr.Nehru in 1948.

Even 100 years of crackdown by India will not work...... can't Indians understand this even after six decades?????

Indian establishment must realize by now and learn from history that you cannot win hearts and minds with the use of force nor you can held on territory by building fences or walls i.e. East Germany. Therefore, it is about time that Indian government should listen to the saner voices emanating from within who want to settle the Kashmir issue with Pak so that there is peace between both countries for the benefit of all. I hope that saner voices prevail?

Such a shame that we are killing and persecuting those whom we call our integral part.

Kashmiri's need to be given a choice to decide what they want, why is the so-called largest democracy in the world scared of doing so? Scotland is the latest example, for how long do they think they can keep the people suppressed by sheer brutality?

Pakistan should forcefully raise the plight of Kashmiris all over the world. Don't leave them being butchered at hands of Indian security forces. This is so barbaric and tragic what these forces are committing in the occupied Kashmir.

Law and order must be kept for normal life in any civilized country.

The world must understand Kashmir issue as Kashmiris are badly suffering under the occupation of Indian rule.These people are not terrorist but asking for rights and justice.The UNO,USA,UK,EU,Russia, Commonwealth, China and Japan must send their independent team to find out the facts.This is the responsibility of the world to sort out serious problems without delay so that everyone can live freely.Enough is enough and India is not a democratic country.

Violence can not solve any problem. Today protesters have burnt the newly built government block development office at Shopian.

Fact is normalcy resolution is now just a dream for indians.. They can't suppress the voices of Kashmiri's by brutal violence, as when nations rise for their freedom sacrificing their lives then no doubttt no power of the world can stop them..

I think it's time for India to give Kashmir its due "AZADI".

This uprising might prolong until the brightest dawn of freedom over Kashmir. Pakistan should accelerate its efforts to highlight the indian brutalities through the national and international medias, especially from the brother Muslim countries...

No solution is acceptable under Indian constitution, only a free and fair plebiscite.

People in UK and USA: please start writing to your parliamentarians, representatives and senators and educate & aware them about human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashimir. You can contact them thru emails and writing letters. It's far better then writing here. Thanks!

Pakistanis should immediately allow all Kashmiris to cross border and settle in Pakistan where they can live peacefully.

Pakistan must Make a strategic defence coalition of 9 muslim countries if it wants freedom of kashmir.

Indian government was asked to retain minimum number of troops in order to hold plebiscite there.Now that minimum number of troops has swelled to almost six lac and counting. @Sarfaraz, Srinagar wrong on most counts. Indian muslim population is 165m ,Pakistan has 200m and Indonesia 210m. Besides Indonesia and Pakistan are muslim countries and India is not, so it does not matter what numbers of muslims there are, control of country is not in their hand.

The snub by the separatist will prove to be blessing for BJP as opposition think tanks will come on the same page with the govt on Kashmir issue. Hurriyat loss will be Modi's gain. Now the hurriyat will feel the heat in coming days. The days of their VIP treatment and Delhi visits are over.

One thing I'll never be able to figure out is why some of these Kashmiris want `azaadi' or whatever it means. My ancestors were the citizens of the Mysore state. When the Mysore state which is known as Karnataka today we swore by the Indian constitution and the same goes for every state that acceded to the Indian union with the exception of Kashmir. As an Indian I enjoy the same rights every Indian does and I discharge the same duties as every other Indian. The taxes we pay goes to facilitate the security forces in Kashmir. Our taxes also fund the livelihoods of Kashmiris including the stone pelters. I work hard, I have a child and I am putting her thru' a college. While I hate my state government, I know I can vote against the ruling party in the next elections. The Kashmiris have the same right. Why aren't some of them living a normal life when they can? Every separatist leader is living an Indian life. Why aren't these guys?
