U-21 side start tour with big win

LAHORE: Pakistan under-21 hockey team opened its second leg of the European tour on an impressive note when annihilated Voordaan Club 6-3 on Wednesday in the Dutch town of Groenekan.

According to a Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) media release, six different players got on the scoring sheet for the visitors. Three goals were scored in the open play while the remaining came from penalty-corner conversions.

Sohail Riaz, Shan Irshad and Dilber scored the field goals. Mubashir Ali, Abubakr and Hasan Anwar found the target in the penalty-corner drills.
